Responsibilities
Our client, a major international bank
located in New York City is seeking a Credit
Professional at a VP level to join their
Credit Division. This
individual will be responsible for designing
and implementing the credit framework for
the Public Finance Business and will also be
responsible for evaluating credit
applications and monitoring a portfolio of
existing transactions. The ideal candidate
will possess excellent banking credit
analysis / risk management skills, knowledge
of the Public Finance Industry and strong
banking product knowledge.

Develop and
implement credit frame work for
the Public Finance Business –
develop rules and regulations

Review
credit applications and make
credit recommendations – monitor
existing portfolio of
transactions / prepare written
credit opinions

Liaise with
product groups and business
lines internally with regards to
risk management and credit
related issues

Keep
abreast with the Public Finance
industry and evaluate trends

Qualifications

7 + years
of banking credit analysis
experience – strong risk
management skills

Knowledge
of the Public Finance Industry

Excellent
communication skills – written
and oral

Ability to
communicate with internal and
external clients

Bachelors
degree required

Masters
degree preferred

Formal
Credit training highly preferred
