Responsibilities
Our client, a publicly traded global asset
management firm in New York City, is looking
for seasoned Financial Advisors to join
their team. After completing a structured
training program, Advisors partner
effectively with Portfolio Managers and
Research Analysts to provide the best
possible investment solutions for their
clients. Clients will include institutional
and individual investors. Financial
Advisors are responsible for assessing a
client's financial circumstances and
objectives, and providing individualized,
highly strategic investment advice,
recommendations and consulting. Our client
offers a diverse line of investment
vehicles, including mutual funds, college
savings (529) plans, retirement planning
products, separately managed accounts and
many other services for their client base
and the investing public. Our client does
not offer insurance products and, therefore,
life/health/disability insurance sales will
not be a responsibility of this position.

Develop and
cultivate your own client base.

Prospect
and service clients.

Analyze
investment opportunities and
client needs and recommend
appropriate strategies.

Build
client relationships based upon
developing strategies for their
financial goals by utilizing
financial planning and wealth
management tools.

Market and
sell appropriate investment,
financial and wealth management
products and services to
clients.

Prepare and
deliver presentations/seminars
to clients and prospects for
business development purposes.

Attend
Financial Advisor meetings and
continuing education sessions to
stay current about products and
policies.

Comply with
all industry rules and
regulations.

Create
sales and marketing strategies
for new client relationships.

Qualifications

Track
record of successful work
experience (at least 7 years)
