Location
Responsibilities
Our client, an insurance company located
in New York City is seeking a Senior
Corporate Treasury Associate / Accountant to
join their Controllers Group in their
Brooklyn office. The ideal candidate will
have superior corporate treasury and
accounting experience and excellent
financial analysis skills.

Process
account openings / closing and
modifications of bank accounts
and services for the internal
business units
-
Review bank
charges to ensure that there are
not discrepancies
-
Allocate
bank fees to the appropriate
business units and maintain
tracking reports
-
Participate
in the development and
modification of department
policies and procedures
-
Take part
in SOX / Internal / External
Audit requests
-
Generate
treasury reports
|
Qualifications
-
3 + years
of accounting and corporate
treasury experience
-
Knowledge
of bank account reconciliations
/ account maintenance
-
Ability to
communicate with corresponding
bank personnel
-
Excellent
analytical skills – ability to
generate reports using MS Excel
/ Access
-
Superior MS
Office skills
-
Experience
with flowcharting highly
preferred
-
Bachelor’s
degree required
