Our client, an insurance company located
in New York City is seeking a Senior
Treasury Analyst / Accountant to join their
Controllers Group in their Brooklyn Office.
The ideal candidate
will possess excellent general accounting
knowledge and will be responsible for
general ledger reconciliations, preparing
month and quarter end journals and ensuring
that all transactions are reconciled within
corporate compliance guidelines. Other
responsibilities include maintaining
department tracking reports, communicating
with internal and external auditors and make
process improvement recommendations.
Qualifications

3 + years
of corporate accounting
experience

Good
overall technical accounting
skills

Knowledge
of the insurance industry highly
preferred

Bachelor’s
degree required
