Responsibilities
Our client, a major international bank
located in New York City is seeking a
Project Management / VP to join their Data
Warehouse Department.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of
financial services / banking operations and
technology and project management, data
manipulation / management skills. Knowledge
of regulatory requirements such as SOX and
BIS II is necessary as well.

Oversee the
entity management process within
the bank – ensure that the
processes are running
appropriately and act as point
person if issues arise
-
Perform
system testing and maintain
policies and procedures –
conduct research to identify any
changes in regulatory
requirements
-
Conduct
impact analysis and system
enhancements to ensure that data
can be collected
-
Create User
Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans
and test scripts and participate
in the execution of the plans
-
Conduct
research to identify best
practices and make
recommendations for process
improvements
-
Define data
measures and develop and
implement tools to monitor data
measures

Qualifications
-
6 + years
of experience working with in
technology and financial
services operations
-
Project
management skills including
budgeting, planning and
reporting
-
Strong
understanding of data /
manipulation / management /
maintenance and data warehousing
-
Knowledge
of data regulations and
compliance issues – knowledge of
SOX etc
-
Superior
communication skills – ability
to communicate with senior
management and all areas of the
bank
-
Bachelor’s
Degree is required

Master’s
Degree is preferred
-
Bilingual
Spanish / English a plus
