Responsibilities
Our client, a Mutual Fund company with
offices in New York City, seeks a Mutual
Fund Internal Wholesaler to join their
Internal Sales Desk.
The ideal candidate must be a sales oriented
individual with prior mutual fund
wholesaling experience. Knowledge of SMA
(Separately Managed Accounts) is ideal as
well as the ability to handle new and
existing client relationships.

Selling
mutual funds and separately
managed account wrap products
over the phone to third party
distributors
-
Developing
initiatives with the external
wholesalers to establish
potential clients
-
Maintaining
existing client relationships.

Handling
excessive amounts of phone calls
per day and follow up with
clients
-
Answering
any questions about the funds
and the firm
-
Periodically participate in
client meeting and seminars

Qualifications
-
2+ years
investment product sales
experience
-
Prior
Mutual Fund and Separately
Managed Account sales experience
-
Ability to
handle numerous phone calls
including following up with
existing clients
-
25% travel
necessary
-
Series 7 &
Series 63 a must
