February 2011 Edition

With the start of 2011, people seem more optimistic that the New Year will bring new opportunities. The job market seems to be going in the right direction with articles now about where and who are hiring vs. where and who are downsizing. Consumer spending has increased slightly and unemployment is slightly down. We are seeing more candidates with multiple job offers, more companies buying out bonuses to get the best talent and more employees being open to making a move. So all in all the first month of 2011 was a nice change from January of 2010.
